Arborland Tennis Lessons
Group, private and semi-private lessons are available for adults and children with our Tennis Professional Ian Liang. To inquire about rates and availability, please contact our office. Lessons will run continuously throughout the year.
- Tennis Court Hours of Operation:
- 7:00 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Group Lesson Programs
- Primary (3-6 yrs):
- This program is designed for the youngest beginner players. We will work on balance, hand-eye coordination, and basic motor skills. Lessons will encourage the young ones to enjoy the sport and, of course, have fun.
- Elementary (6-12 yrs):
- Designed for Elementary age students or students who have previously developed basic tennis skills, this program serves as an introduction to the game of tennis. This introduction to the game of tennis will build the crucial foundation that will serve the student well in the future. Students will start with basic stroke techniques and work towards consistency. They will also focus on preparation and movement.
- Intermediate/Advanced:
- Placement in this program will be based on evaluation by the Coach. This program is designed to help students further develop proper tennis technique on all strokes. Drills and practice focus on expanding and improving advanced play skills, mobility, and cardiovascular fitness.
Tennis Academy
Children will learn and develop many skills, including conditioning, footwork, agility, hand-eye coordination, focus, team-work, listening skills, hard work ethic, and patience. Classes are held twice a week. Please call for availability & schedule (714) 871-3111
- Primary Beginner: 3-6 yrs old
- Primary Intermediate: 3-6 yrs old
- Elementary Beginner: 6-12 yrs old
- Elementary Intermediate/Advanced: 6-12 yrs old
Policy
- Minimum of 3 students to open a class
- Rainy Days- Parents need to call 2 hours before the class will start to confirm tennis lessons will continue
- There are no fee deductions for holidays, illness, or vacations
- No make-up or reductions in tuition for any missed lessons
- Withdrawal/transfer notice is required by the 15th of the month
