Arborland Youth Activity

Policies
  • Registration
  • A registration fee of $50 is required for all new students. Registration is waived for current students of Arborland. Registration fees are non-refundable.

  • Deposit
  • A deposit of $100 is mandatory when a student is enrolled in an after school program. A deposit is applicable to multiple programs. It will be refunded or applied to the last month’s tuition when a written notice of withdrawal has been received by the 15th of the month.

  • Refund / Credit
  • A refund/credit may be applied to the account for students who are enrolled in private programs only. In order to be eligible to receive credit for a private lesson a 24-hour advance notice is required.

  • Withdrawal
  • A withdrawal notice is required by the 15th of the month to be in effect for the following month. Advance written notice is required when withdrawing from any program or class.

  • Make-up
    • Private Lessons only (Music, Tutoring, Private Swim):
    • Must give a 24-hour advance notice of cancellation to be eligible for scheduling a make-up class or to receive credit for the missed class.

  • Holidays/Illness/Vacation:

There are no fee deductions for holidays, illness, or vacations.

  • Program Transfer:
A notice is required by the 15th of the month to be in effect for the following month.
  • Fees
    • Group Lessons:
    • Tuition is based on a monthly flat rate fee regardless of the number of days/weeks in the month. Please refer to the Arborland calendar for specific holidays, days closed or in-services.

    • Private Lessons:
    • Monthly fees are based upon the number of lessons offered.

    • Uniform / Costumes:
    • Martial Arts classes require a uniform which can be purchased through the office. During recital seasons, dancers will need to purchase costumes. Costume ordering information will be provided to parents by the instructors. Costume and uniform payments are non-refundable.

    • Supplies:
    • A one-time annual supplies fee is required for art classes and Chinese classes.

  • Tuition
    • Payment:
    • Tuition for every program is due on the 25th of the prior month. Payments received later than the first of the month will be considered delinquent and subject to a $10.00 late fee. Monthly invoices will be given. Tuition fees are non-refundable.

    • Return Check:
    • A surcharge of $30 will automatically be applied to the account for returned checks. After two returned checks, only cash, cashier’s check or money orders will be accepted for the remainder of the school year.
